In Matthew 13:44-46, Jesus is talking about the Kingdom. The Kingdom is a treasure; a pearl of great price. It is the bargain of a lifetime, both here and in the hereafter. Both of these parables are emphasizing the value of the Kingdom.It is so worthy, that we are willing to give up everything for it. When we do, we lose nothing and gain everything.
